why Notebook Margins ? 

Me My name is Cort. I'm 37 years old. Mostly mystified by the world, but highly appreciative of it. Life is good. People amazing and time short. Here you'll find an old self-portrait, some information about past work, a resume and a form to mail me with. I've always loved to read folk's personal sites. When I was in school I used to love reading what folk wrote in their notebook margins, (which is where the domain name came from). The level of intimacy and types of random detail have changed on personal sites over the past 9 or so years to be less like stuff in notebook margins and more like the notes that folk leave on buletin boards. "Karate teacher available, $15 an hour". That trend will probably continue, but I'm going to try to avoid it if I can. Time is the wisest counselor.
